Where did your Venice go
and what remains?
The gondolas, steps
and breakfast in
San Marco,
cannot continue.
Marble, Seawater,
Mosaic.
Sink, or be run over.
Where, Ezra,
did your Venice Go?
In the time of the dinosaurs, this rock, which from this point on I will refer to as my own, though it has no owner, was formed. It had neither a mother, nor a father. If any rock was to be more grand that my own, it would not survive the wrath of God, for my rock is divine.
I say this after spending a total of two weeks working with, against, and for my rock. It has caused me much stress in the deepest nights of my room, with many a stubbed toe. You see, he always ends up in the worst situations, with the worst influences.
Enough about its personality, let us speak of his personal size. He has large shoulders with a sizable waist.
Blessed Be on this day of May,
Bring back the cloak of Winter's Day.
From within the Goddess comes a sight,
We see then light come from the night.
As Beauties play and men sway,
standing stiff in their hard cold way.
Walking forward through lives of fire,
so as our strength may never tire.

You have followed this dirt path for a long long while,
And trekked across many a mile.
Now after the distance you had to roam,
You finally feel that you could be home.
Come, who may, and rest your feet;
Let the Wolf fetch something to eat.
Come nightfall the peacefulness flees,
As Ancient ones bring us to our knees.
But fret not, my friend, or let trouble your soul,
Those Gods sure can party with that ol' rock and roll!
So grab a robe and kick off your shoes,
It's almost time for you to choose,
Whether you will go or you will stay,
And help us dance the night away.
Whate'er in your heart you see,
Goddess bless you, let you see
A step in the dark, as many believe.
Not able to understand what it is I perceive.
Drawn to the hope
that makes spirits soar,
another step forward, my hand on that door.
It's frightening,
enlightening,
and heightening my senses.
There are no more walls,
no more hidden fences.
So much to learn
not sure where to start.
No concrete structures,
just follow your heart
They tell me it's dark,
but outside the moon's bright.
So I'll step out of the dark,
and into the light.
And Still going - just posted a new writing piece. I've been living in Italy working on literature under the family of Ezra Pound. It's great stuff.
